Necessary storage and lifetimes

The secure YolLane session cookie lasts up to 30 days; logout or account deletion revokes access sooner. Email sign-in uses a 15-minute challenge cookie and Google sign-in a 10-minute state cookie. The sign-out preference lasts up to 30 days. Language/map preferences use a browser-session cookie. The cookie-choice record lasts 180 days. On HTTPS, authentication cookies use the __Host- prefix and HttpOnly protection. Browser settings or clearing data may remove them earlier.

Optional analytics and local queues

Optional analytics uses local storage for an installation identity, consent synchronization and a bounded offline queue. Queued events older than 48 hours are discarded when the queue next runs and are not uploaded; precise evidence is kept only in device memory before upload. Usage, diagnostics, navigation and precise-evidence settings are separate. Essential-only access does not require optional analytics. Deletion in privacy settings also requests removal of linked analytics; clearing browser storage alone is not a server deletion request.

Advertising, providers and native apps

Free driving may show contextual banners. YolLane currently has no cross-site advertising tracker; choosing optional marketing cookies does not install one or give email marketing consent. Embedded maps and external sign-in/payment pages may use their own storage under provider policies. Native apps use secure device storage for sessions and their own privacy controls; this browser’s cookie choice does not automatically change settings on another device.

Change or withdraw your choice

Use the controls below at any time. You may also block cookies in your browser; blocking necessary cookies can prevent sign-in or saving preferences. Withdraw marketing email consent through your profile or the unsubscribe link in a message. Turning off location permission is done in browser/device settings. Withdrawal affects future optional processing and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
